History of 25 Auto or 25 ACP cartridge:
Originally designed by John Browning and introduced around 1905 in Europe and 1908 in the USA.
The .25 ACP (Automatic Cole Pistol) or .25 Auto and .25 Automatic is one of the smaller calibers used in semi-automatic pistols. It is also known as the 6.35 Browning (6.35×15.5mm) in Europe.
This caliber was originally used in the Browning designed Cole semi-auto pistol, which is no longer made for the USA market.
