Older .32 Winchester Special, factory loaded by the now obosolete Western Cartridge Company, USA using then new Western brass cases with a “SUPER-X 32 WIN SPL” Head-Stamp and loaded with a Wesrtern 170 grain, *Silvertip® or Silver Coated JSP (Jacketed Soft Point) projectile.
*Silvertip® bullets or projectiles are not obsolete or no longer produced by Winchester.
History of the .32 Winchester Special Cartridge:The 32 Winchester Special is a rimmed cartridge which was introduced in 1902 for the Winchester Model 1894 Lever-Action rifle.The 32 Winchester Special is a 32 Caliber (.321″) version of the 30-30 Winchester 30 Caliber (.308″) cartridge which was introduce in 1895, so do not try to fire a .32 Winchester Special in a 30-30.Remington made a rim-less version of the 32 Special and called their cartridge the 32 Remington Auto-Load.
