History of the .350 Remington Magnum Cartridge:

The 350 Remington Magnum is a belted case cartridge, developed in 1965 for the Remington Model 600 bolt-action carbine, later in 1968 for the longer barrel, Remington Model 660 rifle, then in 1969 with the Model 700 Remington in 1969.

With the ballistics of a 35 Whelen, in a short cartridge: (muzzle velocity 2300 to 2900 FPS and Energy from 2255 to 3261 Foot Pounds per square inch) this caliber is adequate for all North American big game in the 100 to 300 yard range.

The ammunition was discontinued by Remington in 1974, however there are a few companies producing limited runs of this caliber today.

Please note: the 6.5mm Remington Magnum came out in 1966 for the Remington Model 660 carbine, it was produced by necking down the 350 Remington Magnum to 6.5 mm (264 Caliber).
