History of the .40 Super Cartridge:
The 40 Super was co-developed by Tom Burczynski and Fernando Coelho in 1996, followed by an introduction to the market place by the Triton Cartridge Company.
The 40 Super case is slightly longer then the 45 ACP case and the 400 COR-BON, however the 40 Super is basically a 45 ACP case necked down to 40 caliber
