One Cartridge, not a box : 401 Herter Powermag , made with new Herter’s brass with correct “HERTER’S .401 MAG” CORRECT Head-Stamp (not a wildcat) and Lead projectile. Obsolete

History of the 401 Herter Powermag Cartridge:
The .401 Herter Powermag was introduced in 1961 by the Herter’s Inc. Company of Waseca, Minnesota for use in the Herter’s Powermag single-action revolver.
No other company chambers this caliber, making it a now “Obsolete, Proprietary Cartridge”.
The 41 Herter Powermag is very similar in power to the 41Remington Magnum, however they are not interchangeable.
