Description
One Cartridge not a box: .440 COR-BON Magnum by Cor-bon USA, *Factory Seconds with Split Necks made by using new .50 AE cases and necking them down to .44 calibers, with “IMI .50 AE” Head/Stamp and loaded with a 240 grain “JHP” (Jacketed Hollow Point) projectile. *Split necks, however the speciman will still deplay well.
History of the 440 COR-BON Magnum cartridge: The 440 COR-BON Magnum was introduced as a great flat shooting hunting cartridge in 1997. It was made by necking down the .50 AE cartridge from .50 caliber to .44 caliber (.429″ diameter), for use in the Dessert Eagle semi-auto pistol, simply by changing the barrel. COR-BON never had a correct head-stamp and only used .50 EA cases. Not made in at least 4 or 5 years.
