One Cartridge, not a box:  45 Automatic, a.k.a .45 Auto, and .45 ACP,  new production by the now obsolete Peters Cartridge Company, produced using new “nickel plated” brass cases with “PETERS .45 A.C.” Head Stamp, with 230 grain FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) projectile, and Nickel Primer.

History of the 45 Automatic Cartridge:
The 45 Automatic, a.k.a .45 Auto, and .45 ACP, invented by John Browning and introduced in 1911 for the Colt /Browning Model 1911 Semi-Auto pistol.
This is a great caliber, and has stood the test of time and is still one of the most poplar calibers today after over 100 years, as well as the 1911 pistol now made by 100s of manufacturers.
