One Cartridge not a Box: .470 Nitro Express by the ”Now Closed”,  BELL Labs (Brass Extrusion Laboratories LTD, factory loaded by BELL with (then new) BELL brass cases with (now obsolete)  “B.E.L.L. 470″ Head-Stamp and loaded with 500 Grain JSP (Jacketed Soft Point) Projectile. *Due to age sold as a collectible, may not fire , no returns if it does not fire.

History of the .470 Nitro Express Cartridge:

The 470 Nitro Express was introduced in the very early 1900s and it was only introduced as a Smokeless Cartridge, not black powder.

It was introduced as a replacement cartridge for the 450 Nitro Express that was banded in India and Sudan at the time of it’s introduction. By far one of the most popular cartridges of it’s day, and still is very popular today.
