One Cartridge not a Box! 6.5 Weatherby RPM by Weatherby, USA loaded by Weatherby with new Weatherby brass cases with ” WEATHERBY  6.5 WBY RPM” Head-Stamp and loaded with a 140 grain  Hornady INTEROCK  or JSP ( Jacketed Soft Point) projectiles.

The 6.5Weatherby RPM is Weatherby’s first belt-less case cartridge for major production, and also with a rebated rim.

The 6.5 RPM, RPM for Rebated Precision Magnum and was designed  to produce magnum performance in the Weatherby Mark V (under 5 pound) rifles.

( In other words, “Magnum” performance on a 30-06 platform bolt).Pushing a 140 grain projectile to over 3,000 feet per second with almost 2900 foot pounds per square in of energy  in a light rifle should create some interest in this new caliber .*

The 220 Rocket was a belt-less case, but it was wildcat cartridge designed by Weatherby and not a production cartridge.
