One Cartridge, not a box: .284 Winchester by Winchester, factory loaded with new Winchester brass cases with the “W.W SUPER 284 WIN” Head-Stamp and loaded with a 150 grain Power-Point or JSP (Jacketed Soft Point) projectile.
History of the .284 Winchester Cartridge:The .284 Winchester was introduced in 1963 and was the first American cartridge with a *rebated rim.The rim is the size of a 30-06 diameter cartridge and the case base has a considerably larger diameter.There were two Winchester rifles produced that were chambered in this caliber, the Model 88 lever-action and the Model 100 semi-auto , now long discontinued.The cartridge is now only produced once a year in a seasonal run, or less.*rebated rim means the rim diameter of the cartridge is a smaller then the case base diameter.
