One Cartridge, not a box: .32 Smith & Wesson Short by Peters Cartridge Company of Cincinnati Ohio, esitimate Mid 1930 production using (Then New) Peters brass cases with a “PETERS .32 S.&W.” head-stamp and loaded with an 82 grain lead projectile with 82 grains of Semi-Smokerless power. (See Box label.)

History of .32 Smith & Wesson Short Cartridge:
This pistol cartridge was introduced in 1878 for the Smith & Wesson Model 1-1/2 hinged-frame single action revolver.
It was loaded with black powder at the time of its introduction, but has been loaded with smokeless powder since 1940.
