History of the 33 Nosler:
The 33 Nosler is a relatively new cartridge developed by Nosler in 2017 as part of their proprietary cartridge line. It’s based on the .404 Jeffery case, but is a shorter, standard length action cartridge. The company was established to market and sell the Nosler Partition bullet, which was developed after John Nosler experienced bullet failure while hunting moose.
The company initially sold the Partition bullet to the public in 1948, eventually becoming a leading manufacturer of high-performance hunting bullets and hand-loading components.
