One Cartridge, not a box: .500 Linebaugh by Grizzly Cartridge Company, factory loaded using new Hornady brass cases with a “HORNADY 500 LINEBAUGH “ Head-Stamp and loaded with a 400 grain J.S.P.  (Jacketed Soft Point) projectile. 

History of the .500 Linebaugh Cartridge:
The 500 Linebaugh was created by John Linebaugh, of Maryville, Missouri.
The cartridge was produced by taking a 348 Winchester cartridge and necking it out to 500 caliber, and shortening it to 1.5 inches.
This was a true Wildcat cartridge until Brass and Cartridge Manufacturers started to produce it, but now it should be considered a Proprietary Pistol Cartridge.
